Congratulations William and Kate

- by Kerry

Well, I'm late with today's post, but I couldn't tear myself away from the television and the exquisite pomp and ceremony of the royal wedding. Kate looks beautiful and her husband (by now) very debonair. I believe the rest of the day will be filled with delicious menus at luncheon and dinner. And as a food lover, this interests me almost as much as what Kate was going to be wearing.

We don't know just yet, but former royal chef, Darren McGrady, has a few predictions for the dinner menu:

Champagne and h'ors d'oeuvres to start (such as smoked salmon, pate and mini sausage rolls - apparently always popular at the palace); perhaps some Gaelic steaks, or even cottage pie; but all in all, a menu to truly showcase British cuisine. (But not pureed veggies - which were apparently the royal babies' favourite meal.)

Congrats to the royal couple from all of us at Avocado magazine!
